Empowering Refugee Youth to Thrive in America

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower refugee youth and young adults to build a brighter future through education, community involvement, and personal growth. By providing the resources and opportunities they need to succeed, we help them thrive in American society and become leaders who give back to their communities with purpose and pride.

News and Highlights

Grand Award Announcement

We are excited to share that the City of Aurora’s Neighborhood Improvement Grant Program has awarded $3,927 to Path2Citizenship in support of our upcoming 2025 Path2Light Award Ceremony!

This grant will directly support our efforts to recognize and celebrate the academic progress, attendance, and personal growth of refugee youth in our community. From awards and event supplies to activities and refreshments, the funding will help make the August 2nd ceremony a meaningful and memorable event for all participants and their families.

We are incredibly grateful to the City of Aurora for investing in our youth and helping us shine a light on their achievements.

In-Kind Highlight

A heartfelt thank-you to AlloSource, a nonprofit organization dedicated to healing lives through tissue donation, for donating 10 laptops to Path2Citizenship!

These laptops will be gifted to graduating refugee high school seniors as they begin their journey to college or technical school—turning technology into opportunity and empowering success beyond the classroom.
